Papa owl in all his glory, watching over the nest area, where two babies died falling out of the nest. One left....
An early photo of one of the Great Horned owl babies. Just a limb ledge for a nest, two babies fell out and died. This one hung on, and so far is thriving. Mom is staying very close to him.

Mom and baby. Two chicks died. The nest was too small. This one is thriving, now that he learned how to climb up next to mom. He's not hunting yet. They both bring him food.
